Code of Ethics
1. Members understand that all aspects of the real estate profession are represented within our membership. This, consequently, makes members an ambassador to the real estate industry and the community.
2. Members shall not discriminate against any person with regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, gender, handicap, or familial status.
3. Whenever prudent and appropriate, members will provide assistance to fellow MO-KAN REIN members and encourage others to do the same.
4. Members shall engage in legal and ethical practices and always conduct business in a professional and honest manner.
5. Members shall not knowingly make promises they are unable or unwilling to keep and members shall endeavor to keep the promises they make.
6. Members shall exercise due diligence in all their business affairs.
7. Members will keep themselves current with local, state and federal laws, and stay informed on matters affecting housing and our community.
8. Members shall act as a positive role model for our industry when dealing with tenants, buyers, sellers the public, the media, government officials, and all others.
9. Members shall not defame, slander, libel, or impugn the MO-KAN REIN image; Members shall not misrepresent MO-KAN REIN or profit unduly from inappropriate personal use of the MO-KAN REIN image.
